Esther Shea is a soprano who's performances are shaped by expressive storytelling and a deep connection to text. Currently studying for a Master of Music in Vocal Studies and Opera at the Royal Northern College of Music, she is the winner of the RNCM Concerto Competition and the Joyce and Michael Kennedy Award for the Singing of Strauss. Recent highlights include The Fox in The Cunning Little Vixen where she was praised by Opera Magazine for her "confidently restrained" performance, Mrs Coyle in Britten's Owen Wingrave and concert performances of Strauss’ Vier letzte Lieder.
